Four members of the Boston Skating Club of Boston are killed in a plane crash in Washington, D.C.

Skaters Jinna Han, 13, and Spencer Lane, 16, and coaches Vadim Naumov and Evenia Shishkova, who were returning from a competition in Kansas, are among the 67 people killed when American Airlines Flight 5342 collides with a US Army helicopter over Reagan National Airport.
